2022 AWF National Senior Championships

Due to the scheduling of the IWF World Championships in December, the 2022 AWF National Senior Championships will now be held on 18th – 20th November, at the Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra ACT.

iSO LIFT Virtual Weightlifting Tournament

iSO LIFT provides the opportunity for AWF members to compete in a national tournament from home. Participants simply record their weigh-in and lifts, then register and upload the videos at the iSO LIFT page on the AWF website.

2019 AWF UNDER 23 & JUNIOR WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS - REGULATIONS - UPDATED

Please be advised that the AWF Board of Directors have endorsed a recommendation of the AWF High Performance Commission to amend the following AWF National Championships regulation:

Athletes may enter and compete in the bodyweight category in which they have achieved qualification. Athletes may move up to a heavier category if they have achieved the qualifying total for that heavier category. Athletes cannot compete in a lighter bodyweight category if they have not qualified in that lighter category. The final category of choice must be declared at the verification of final entries.
